Find out what a COD order really pays you,
before you spend on ads.

Three calculators that use the same set of numbers: what a delivered order earns, what a testing week costs, and what you need to run to hit a profit target. Your figures stay in this browser and are still here when you come back.

Your numbers

Courier deduction

Since July 2025 the courier withholds tax on every COD order before it pays you. The 2% income-tax withholding on digitally ordered goods is the part everyone agrees on; sales-tax withholding is what pushes the total higher, and non-filers are deducted more. Edit the figure to whatever your own courier statement shows.

Assumptions & updates

Every default in here, and where it came from

Rates in Pakistan move. Rather than bury the assumptions, they are listed with a date so you can see when they were last checked and override anything that does not match your own account.

Assumption
Default
Basis
Courier tax deduction
4% filer / 6% non-filer
Finance Act 2025 e-commerce withholding on digitally ordered goods, collected by the courier on COD. The 2% income-tax element is the settled part; sales-tax withholding and filer status move the total.
Payment fee on ad spend
7% (SadaPay)
Typical all-in cost of funding a Meta ad account from Pakistan, including card and FX charges. Payoneer is usually lower, bank cards higher.
Delivery success rate
80%
Published national COD figures put returns around 18–20%, so roughly four parcels in five arrive. Unoptimised stores commonly sit at 65–75%.
Shipping per order
Rs 260 forward, Rs 200 return
Indicative 1 kg domestic rates for the major couriers in 2026. Merchant accounts cut 5–15% off walk-in rates.
COD collection fee
1.5%
Courier cash-handling charge; commonly 1.5–2% at retail rates and 0.75–1.5% on negotiated corporate accounts.
Events to exit learning
50 per creative per week
Meta’s own guidance for leaving the learning phase, applied per ad set rather than per account.
September 2026
Added the profit-target calculator, the delivery-rate sensitivity table and break-even delivery rate. Courier and COD fee defaults refreshed against 2026 published rates.
September 2026
Courier tax deduction split into filer, non-filer and income-tax-only presets, with the assumption written out rather than hidden in the maths.
Next update
Rates are re-checked when couriers publish new tariffs or the tax treatment changes. If your courier statement disagrees with the default, message me and I will look at it.

Estimates only, based on the figures you enter. Tax treatment under the Finance Act 2025 e-commerce regime can change and varies by filer status — confirm with your courier statement and an accountant before you rely on it.

Pricing is the easy half.
Keeping ad cost under break-even is the skill.

The calculator tells you the number you have to beat. The course is how you beat it — campaign structure, creative, tracking and scaling for this market, taught on real accounts.

ROAS goal {{ roasGoal }}x
1xbreak-even {{ beRoasShort }} · per recorded purchase8x

Target cost per purchase is the selling price divided by your ROAS goal, measured per purchase recorded in Ads Manager — the same basis as the break-even figure, so the two can be compared directly. Meta needs roughly 50 optimisation events per ad set inside a week to leave the learning phase. Testing several creatives at once splits those events, which is why a thin budget spread across eight ads tells you nothing about any of them.

{{ r.k }} {{ r.v }}

While Meta is learning, expect your real cost per purchase to run one and a half to two times worse than target. Keep the reserve — launching with exactly the minimum is how a working product gets killed in week one.

Work backwards from a target
Tell it what you want to earn. It tells you what has to happen.
